Amar Das ji, Toor & Urad Farmer (Amada Jaivik Krishi Samuh, Jhadol)

The pulses are from a tribal farmer group from Udaipur, Rajasthan. The tribals of this area are mostly intact from the chemical inputs based farming practices. They use their traditional methods to grow crops. For this reason the taste of these pulses is so unique and it’s very easy to cook them. And the farmers have no commercial production angle or intent here. They don’t harbour much interest in selling their produce as well. As such, at times it becomes hard to procure the raw material from these farmers. With financial help from an NGO a Dal Milling machine has been established in a village. The raw material is processed here and packed. Locals, especially women, are employed in the whole process. No polishing is done. The pulses are all natural and carry more than a thousand years’ old genome. No adulteration No chemicals No GMO.
We bring you the best in taste.
